Chestnut Trout Pool is our newest water, open for fly-only fishing from September 2009.

 

The largest pool on the complex, Chestnut pool is stocked with high quality, hard fighting rainbow trout between 2 and 4lbs in weight which were added at the beginning of August, so they have had plenty of time to settle and get used to a diet of natural food items.

 

The fishing is fly only put and take, with sporting tickets available in the winter months.

A specially constructed teaching platform and one purpose built peg, complete with  wheelchair friendly tracks allow superb access for disabled fly fishermen
